After the unexpected resignation of the Party leader, Patrick Eston, Veritas is pleased to announce that Therese Muchewicz, a long-standing member of the party and member of the NEC is to temporarily take over the leadership until leadership elections can be arranged in the autumn. Her appointment as Acting Leader was unanimously approved by the out-going Party Leader and members of the NEC. We wish her every success in this new and challenging appointment.
Having a woman in such a prominent position will highlight not only the equal opportunities that are open to members of the party but also the values for which the party stands.
