Thank you taking the time and the trouble to visit our Veritas Web Site and also taking the time to read this particular page. I have split the Leaders page into two separate sections. Section one is to give you an idea of why Veritas was formed, what our aims and aspirations are and how we intend to achieve them. Section two will be comment and observations on matters that are news and of concern to the people of the UK. By definition therefore section one will remain the same and section two will vary approximately every week.
We in Veritas are all part of this great party because we all firmly believe that:

By that statement we mean it has been stolen from the people by:
The PC Brigade and their supporters
Criminals, Yobs and their apologists
Uncontrolled Immigration supporters
Administrators and their hangers on
The European Union and their cohorts
Veritas will make this a country where political correctness is not acceptable and not a single penny of taxpayer’s money will be spent on this evil. We will dismantle the whole apparatus of Political Correctness and dispense with it once and for all.
Veritas will make the criminals in this country fear the law instead of law-abiding citizens fearing the criminals.
Veritas will get immigration under control quickly and adopt a policy that can be best summed up in these few words.
Immigration - only those we need, Asylum Seekers - only our fair share.
Veritas will dismantle the industry that has grown up around immigration and put the needs and wishes of the people of the UK (whatever their background) foremost.
Veritas will dramatically reduce the burden on the taxpayer and industry by drastically pruning the number of administrators in the UK. At the same time we will dispense with the petty regulations that blight the daily lives of our people.
Veritas will withdraw from the European Union and establish a trading agreement with our European neighbours. This will return democracy once again to the UK and set us free to be a strong independent commercial force again on the world’s stage.
I therefore respectfully suggest as you read these pages on our web site you consider joining us to assist us and to be part of this great campaign to save our country and its people before its too late.

It is way past the time for the UK to get tough on immigration
The situation regarding immigration in the UK long ago reached the level of a national scandal.
Primarily due to this present governments ineptitude and inability get to grips with immigration there will be far reaching consequences for all the people of the UK. The infrastructure of this country cannot sustain the levels of immigration of all sorts that is rampant at present.
Indeed this present government cannot even admit that there is a problem let alone come up with any tangible ideas and actions to solve the problem. How could they when they are so woolly minded as to not even notice the situation that is staring them in the face.
The problem is now so grave that unless swift and decisive action is taken I dread to think about the consequences for our children and the generations yet to come.
Now is the time for action not words, therefore the only possible solution to our problem is as follows
Stop all immigration into the UK immediately whilst we sort the problem out, and send back all people who are in this country illegally.
Stopping Immigration
Do not be fooled please, unless we leave the EU and control our own borders any EU citizen can come and live here, witness the influx of Eastern European people into the UK if you doubt that.
Believe me it will only get worst unless WE the people of this country actually get up off our backsides and do something about leaving the EU.
Remember.... Unless we leave the EU we will never control immigration. Anybody who thinks otherwise is wrong and one day when it is too late they will understand exactly what is happening to our country.
Sending Back all those who are in the country illegally
The Sunday Times reported this week that although Spain has showered development aid to Guinea, Gambia, and Senegal in exchange for a commitment to halt the flow of immigrants to its shores, the flood continued.
When Spain adopted a tough policy and returned 600 Senegalese would-be migrants back to their homeland, the flow stopped.
Why is the British government not returning the illegal immigrants already here? The answer is simple they do not have the guts to do it.
They are more concerned to not upset the bleeding heart Politically Correct Brigade than they are to protect the future of all the citizens of this country.
A concerted effort must be made to round up and deport all those in the country illegally, Furthermore any person who enters the UK illegally should forfeit all rights to asylum or immigration as a matter of course and be sent straight back without fear or favour.

Not their finest hour
Much has been written about the debacle surrounding the 15 Naval personnel captured and released recently by the Iranians.
Most people in the country are fed up reading and hearing about them and the turmoil over the foolish and shameful way the whole matter has been handled from start to finish.
You will be pleased to read that I will keep this article brief, but as a former member of HM forces I feel I must add my comment to all the others.
In my opinion there has to be an enquiry into all aspects of this episode
It has to start at the beginning and cover everything about this affair and it has to be a proper enquiry not another whitewash
The inquiry needs to focus on
1) The Incident
Why did the naval personnel allowed themselves to be captured without any resistance being offered?
Why did they not at least try to protect themselves?
Why did the command ship not protect them properly?
Why was it miles away from the search area leaving 15 people vunerable?
What was the rational of the commanders in the area, did they really believe there was no danger of the Iranians repeating what they had done before?
Why were the search party not warned of the Iranian boats heading their way?
Why were the navy not prepared for all eventualities in this dangerous and disputed waterway?
2) The time in Iran
Why did the personnel go on TV and help the Iranians with their propaganda?
Were they not made aware of the danger in the area and prepared for possible interrogation and how to avoid being used as pawns?
Why did some of the prisoners say nothing while others said much?
The sight of the female prisoner smoking a cigarette whilst being interviewed did nothing for the image of our armed forces. Why did she do that?
3)The aftermath
Why were they initially allowed to sell their stories to the media?
Who made the decision and why was the number 10 press office involved?
Was it to help cover up the mistakes that allowed them to be captured?
Was it part of the Blair spin from the Labour school of manipulation and delusion?
These are just some of the questions that need answering. The decent members of our armed forces both past and present deserve no less.
I cannot recollect previous heroes who have been captured or their loved ones making money from their ordeal.
What about all the brave people who have given their lives for this country down the years they deserve better than this insult to their silence and their courage.
This is not the navy’s finest hour and I just hope that this government and the armed forces has the courage to admit their mistakes, learn and move on.
Somehow I doubt it, this matter will be covered with the usual spin and delusion that this country has come to expect from the politicians of the main political party’s
The people and its armed forces deserve better that this grubby little affair.

Veritas gets no pleasure in the following series of articles, however we are the straight talking party and we believe the truth must always be told.
We will not spin or dissemble the truth, we will ALWAYS fight for what is right.
UKIP refuses to back disabled candidate
A man has been told he cannot be a full UK Independence Party candidate because he is disabled.
Furious Jack Biggs, 65, of High Street, Wyke Regis, wanted to represent the
anti-Euro party at the next Weymouth and Portland Borough Council
election.
But now the party has told him he cannot stand as a full candidate because
he has had both knees replaced. Instead they told him he could be a paper candidate - a term used by major parties to describe a candidate who is not expected to win the seat.
Vicki Sharp, chairman of South Dorset Constituency Association, wrote in a
letter: "Unfortunately, I have to tell you that, in view of your being
registered disabled you will not be able to stand as a full candidate for
UKIP. We would however like you to be a paper candidate."
"You say in your letter that as a consequence of your disability you are
useless at leafleting. This is why we are delivering leaflets now that will
find people who will put posters in their windows and hopefully help you
with your campaign.
Far from being, as you say, a waste of effort, this has proved very
effective in many areas in the past."
But Mr Biggs is furious at the decision. He said: "It's disgusting. I told
them I wouldn't run without the full support of the party. I said I could canvass in slow time but not post leaflets because of my
legs. I told the 650 people who voted for me that I would not stand again
for the council but UKIP talked me into standing for them. UKIP withdrew its support when they found out I was registered disabled
following a double knee replacement. I'm very angry at this discrimination
so I'll be standing as an independent."
But a spokesman for UKIP said they told Mr Biggs he should be a paper
candidate for his own good.
She said: "The south west consider a paper candidate to be someone who can't leaflet or canvass every single house in the ward. Considering that Mr Biggs has had a double knee replacement we considered it kinder not to put him in a situation where he would be spending vast amounts of time walking around the ward. It was a decision made as an act of kindness because we don't want Mr Biggs to be put out. It was just a badly written letter."
We have written to Mr Biggs telling him that Veritas would be honoured to have him stand as a candidate for us.
There you have it, sad we know but never-the-less it must be brought to the publics attention. You may now see some of the reasons that caused Robert Kilroy-Silk to despair of UKIP and to start Veritas.
Veritas believes that the decent members of UKIP deserve better from its leaders. A tale of tax and waste
As the country and the majority of its people look forward to the end of Mr Blair’s disastrous stint as Prime Minister what do we have on the horizon? The answer is simple we have the coronation of Gordon Brown the architect of this governments stealth tax and waste policies heading our way and we cannot stop it.
In the bad old days the Labour Party were rightfully known as the tax and spend party. Nowadays thanks to our friends Tony and Gordon, the country has been saddled with New Labour which heaven help us has become the tax, spend and fritter away party.
The citizens of this country are being hammered by the highest taxes in our history. From income tax and national insurance to the more than 100 stealth taxes brought in by Mr Brown, when you stick them all together the plain fact (without any Downing Street spin) is simple and unavoidable.
British people must work until early June before they work for themselves, before that date every penny they earn goes in tax.
When it is put in those simple yet stark terms surely all but the most gullible must see that we as a nation are paying far too much tax to the government for them to largely fritter it away.
I could spend the next ten pages detailing how this chancellor (soon to be Prime Minister) has been responsible for this massive tax burden on the decent people of this country. The next time you see either him or Mr Blair grinning at the cameras with the smug look that they both possess remember its your money that that they are taking from you and largely wasting.
The next time you see Mr Cameron (the Tony clone) refusing to answer any question in anything else other than meaningless waffle then remember what you read today.
Don’t think for a second that either of the two main parties will tackle tax revenue and waste because they have not the courage to address the real issues and vested interests that maintain the present status quo.
There is only one way forward that is to ensure that the total tax burden on the nation is reduced to as low as possible whilst insuring the maintenance of our cherished public services and national infrastructure.
It can so easily be done if a party has the courage to attack waste and mismanagement in every sector of the government and the public services. This means demanding simple value for money from every supplier of services and goods, reduction of pointless regulation and administration and the elimination of waste.
Veritas would work with organisations like the Tax Payers Alliance (T P A) to identify waste and overspending. The T.P.A has identified over £80 Billion of savings that could be made virtually immediately without affecting our public services or our nations infrastructure.
From immigration, the public pay roll, PC non-jobs, waste in our Health Service, translators, paying too much for goods and services, pointless jobs for the boys, it goes on and on and I will spare you the virtually endless list of staggering waste that would literally take your breath away.
Just some examples for you to consider
Did you know that almost 6 Million workers (nearly 20%) of all the employees in the UK are working in the public sector? all paid for by you and me and the taxpayers of this country.
Did you know that in 2006 for example a staggering nearly 21, 000 jobs were advertised by this government for councils, and other public bodies with a wage bill of nearly £800,000,000(eight hundred million) not including pensions and other perks.
Did you know that in 2005 it was only slightly higher than in 2006 making a joke and an insult of Gordon Browns pledge (complete with grin) that he would slash (his words not mine) wasteful state jobs in 2006.
Did you know that you and me are paying for jobs like a Bike Officer for a transport body, a Cardboard Citizens Managing Director, a Welfare Rights Outreach Advise, a Jewellery Project Administrator? God only knows what they do and why they are needed. One thing is for sure if Veritas get any say in the matter there will be no more pointless appointments like these and the existing holders of such spurious positions will be made to find other work not at public expense.
Veritas is a low tax, low waste party; we will keep the overall tax burden to an absolute minimum by redefining all government contracts and eliminating waste of all kind. We will work with all and any organisations to help us achieve this aim and we will ensure that we get the maximum for every pound we receive from the public via tax. We will also ensure that our public services and infrastructure have sufficient funds carefully managed to maintain a first class service to the people of this country.
In conclusion
The next time you see Mr Blair, Mr Brown or Mr Cameron with silly grins on their faces spinning a yarn about how they are the right people to trust with your hard earned taxes remember this article.

A typical letter
Please find below a copy of a letter received by Veritas (typical of many) after the Talk Sport interview. The original letter is available should anybody wish to see it. Veritas is not like the main parties and I am not like other politicians; I can assure you this letter is genuine and was completely un-solicited.
The comments of this writer express the frustration that many of us feel in the UK today (the people who live in the real world I mean).
Here is a copy of the letter, word for word as it was written:
Patrick I realize you’re a busy man but I hope you read this e -mail.
I think I speak for a lot of people, whom have become disenfranchised in the 3 main political parties,
Labour and Tory are now the same, sound bites and populist politics (hug a hoodie for Christ sake) (green tax) stealth tax.
Liberals as always are meaningless.
I listen to John Gaunt every day and I heard you on the show, so did a few people where I work as a carpenter, we are builders.
Patrick there are so little options at the moment for people to vote, which is why there is an apathy to voting.
But as we all agreed on that day at work when you were on the radio if we don’t vote its pointless moaning when the idiots are still in power.
A few of us even thought about BNP and the only reason for that is they stand up for British values, (but unfortunately a lot of other things).
The new climate of change within the government i.e. the new veil business and Muslims needing to do more to inter-grate is all because they realize what’s happening and the fact that the right are gaining very very fast because the indigenous population is fed up being slapped down as a little Englanders or racist to speak out about what matters, and that isn't skin colour.
Its family values and the British way of life that is being taken away.
As I said we are builders and we are feeling the affect now of immigration and lack of controls, the salaries are going down in the industry that’s a fact, I have been to 3 different jobs in 5 weeks I work for a main contractor whom gets me work but each site I turned up at and there are not massive sites just your normal size interior specialists i.e. for offices and the like.
At each job when I parked my van in the parking area was a car with a foreigner number plate which meant the site normally had 1 pair of foreign labour that don’t normally speak good english, Each job was the same only the cars obviously were different but they were all very luxurious saloons, an Audio A6, VW passant, Mercedes Benz.
Now on 2 of these jobs they had previous foreign workers that carried out work that I had to correct which I find astonishing.
We all think (my comrades at work) that the main parties are killing Britain and its Britishness all for multiculturalism, which isn't working.
I have now known of 3 families in the last 18-months whom have gone of to another country to start a new life with there families, This is bloody wrong but you cant blame them.
I could go on and on but Patrick on the show John gave you some great questions,
You answered and said many things that as we were listening we were cheering and saying bloody hell finally someone that lives in the real world with the rest of us
He shares the same goals and values and is going to stand up for the British people and British way of life, which isn’t a racist but over the years that’s what we have been called for daring to say British values and multiculturalism isn't working.
I live in Welwyn garden city and if Veritas is an option in a box to tick I will tick it so I think will the others.
I hope you can gather ground quick as a party and I hope as you said you will stand by your answers. I think you will honour them.
The people of Britain need to know there is a political party out there who holds their views, values and way of life & to defend their country, Not just the 2 columnists John gaunt and Richard Littlejohn.
When they do find you as we have, the surge will be astronomical because there are a lot of people who really want and are waiting to vote, but there hasn't been a party to vote for until now.
One thing though
When we heard the name Veritas we all thought of Robert Kilroy- Silk the people need to know he isn't part of the party.

An Asylum Seeker, A Murder And a Veil
(An everyday tale of a country that has lost all common sense)
Very few sad tales this Christmas time serve to illustrate in stark clearer terms the extent that political correctness has taken over our lives than the shameful debacle regarding Mustaf Jama. Let me explain for those of you who have any doubt who this individual is. He is a suspected member of a vicious and cowardly gang of thugs that bungled a robbery and murdered Pc Sharon Beshenivsky in cold blood. They also seriously wounded her colleague as they attended the scene of the failed robbery. The fled in stolen cars leaving one police woman dying and one seriously wounded, lying in the street.
Despite Mustaf Jama being a prime suspect and having his picture circulated to every port, airport and police force in the UK it appears as though he just sauntered past the authorities at Heathrow airport and got on a flight back to Somalia.
How did he achieve this escape worthy of James Bond? Did he disguise himself expertly with the assistance of Q, wigs, make up and false papers? No he simply covered his face up with a veil and nobody checked that the person carrying his sister’s passport was in fact a wanted suspect in a horrific murder.
So this bogus asylum seeker who claimed it was far too dangerous for him to remain in his homeland decided after all to go back there, (What a surprise) Meanwhile a loving broken hearted husband and three motherless children were left to grieve their tragic loss and the rest of us are left to wonder how such a thing could be allowed to happen.
On examination of the case it appears that not only should he have never been allowed to stay in this country in the first place as his claim is fraudulent. He served four terms in prison here in the UK and was still classed as a British national by our glorious Home Office. I am sure it gladdens your heart as it does mine to know that our elected officials and those whom the taxpayer pays are so completely on the ball.
The serial incompetence of this government and its servants is only exceeded by the extent of their cowardice in not putting the rights and the well being of the citizens of the UK above all other considerations. Reasonable people may care to ask some simple questions as follows.
Why was he allowed to claim asylum in the first place?
Why was he not sent straight back when his claim was plainly bogus?
Why (if the above were not implemented) was he not deported immediately after he served his Jail sentence?
Why was allowed to saunter past passport control without anybody checking his passport.
To get answers to these questions you simply have to look no further than our witless and spineless leaders. They are so riddled with political correctness that they have made this country the laughing stock of the world in most (if not all) areas
Our borders are virtually non-existent, our passport controls are pathetic, and we as a country have got leaders who do not have the moral courage to rectify the situation. They are far more concerned with the rights of bogus asylum seekers than they are with the rights and well being of the citizens of the UK.
We now have the farce of the authorities being afraid to ask to see the face of a passport holder wearing a veil in case they infringe their rights. It is madness beyond belief and unless the voters of this country have the moral courage and foresight to vote all politicians out of office who think this way then PC Beshenivisky will not be the last innocent to pay the ultimate price.
We as a country and as a people owe it to the memory of the generations who have gone before, those yet unborn to do something about the madness that is sweeping our nation. The people of this nation seem to be gripped with a fear of action lest they be branded a racist or a bigot. Have we really lost the courage to stand up and be counted?
Give Veritias ONE chance, that’s all just ONE chance to rectify the situation and I promise you we will take this country back from the PC brigade, the criminals, the tax wasters, the control freaks and all those people who blight our lives.
We will regain control of our borders, get immigration under very strict control, make our own laws to suit our citizens and stop this country and its people been taken for fools. We will cut waste to a minimum whilst protecting essential public services and we will oppose any enemy and fight any fight to achieve this goal.
One chance that’s all, give us just this one chance and we will not let you down.

Another week, another delusion on Planet Blair
The delusion and conceit of our present Prime Minister seems to know no bounds. Its another week on planet Blair as he again tells us he has found the answer to a particular set of problems that face our country and its poor citizens.
His latest piece of breathtaking delusion is to tell us that the plan to introduce a vast expensive national Identity Card scheme will be an answer to the following
1 The collapse of our borders
2 The breakdown in our Criminal Justice system
3 Mass migration
4 The strain of over population on public services
5 The ruining of the very fabric of our society.
6 The daily abuse of our benefits system.
Well, there's a surprise, its really so very so simple I wonder why nobody ever thought of it before or could it just be perhaps that the much vaunted ID card scheme will not work.
Could it also be the case that it is his very Government has been largely responsible for the problems that he is now so eager to claim he has the solution for. If Mr Blair and his Government really wanted to do something about these and the other problems that blight our lives they could have done it years ago.
The truth is that this Prime Minister is vainly thrashing about for some mark or legacy he can leave behind and look back on when he trots off into the sunlight. Remember his many boasts of the past.
He was going to save the NHS, the Education system, he was going to be tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime, he was going to save Iraq, he was going to save Africa, most recently he is going to save the world from Global warming and now he is going to save our country with ID cards.
His delusion and conceit know no bounds, people will not be fooled again by his WMD (words of mass deception). He is not to be trusted, ID cards will be an expensive waste of public money. They will do little or nothing to increase our security, it will however mean more jobs for the public sector and it will vastly increase state control over the people.…
ID Cards will be yet another folly paid for by the taxpayer to go alongside the CSA and the Millennium Dome (remember Mr Blair's delusion about that monstrosity). The poor taxpayer will have to fork out for the desire of our Prime Minister to make his mark on Britain and leave his legacy behind
I have news for him, he has made his mark on our country, He will be forever known as the man who led this country into a disastrous war in Iraq, who wasted public money on a massive scale, who betrayed the electors, and finally he will always be remembered as the man who almost single-handedly virtually wiped out the peoples trust in their elected representatives.
Some legacy Mr Prime Minister, however please readers do not worry about him he is so deluded he actually thinks he has done a good job as your Prime Minister.

In another of his "what planet are they living on moments" we are now being told by The Tory Leader David Cameron that his earth shattering solution to the soaring youth crime rates and the yobs who make decent peoples life a misery is to....wait for it... Love a lout.
The poor victims of the increasing youth crime rates in this country have got it all wrong. It is their fault because they do not love the louts.
Brilliant deduction Mr Cameron. I wonder when you thought that one up.
Perhaps over a glass of ice cold Chablis at a trendy Notting Hill wine bar surrounded by all your Old Etonian mates and rich advisers.
It proves again that the Tory Leader is so isolated by his wealth, privilege and background to have the first notion of how it feels to live in a neighbourhood that is a no go area after dark. Where your children risk mugging for their mobile phones or trainers when they go out. Where you house and car are at constant risk of damage, theft or burglary.
Yet again this PC Tory sees the criminals as the real victims and the victims to blame for their lack of love for the louts.
The real reason for the UK having the worst teenagers in Europe is due to people like Mr Cameron and his PC mates who have infested our society with their barmy notions.
We need as a society to adopt a Zero tolerance to crime and punished the real criminals instead of blaming the victims. Then we will begin to see a real reduction in crime and our decent citizens will start to see proper justice metered out to criminals instead of special treatment.
But don't hold you breath will you, Mr Cameron like all the P C brigade and their cohorts are ruled by emotion rather than reason. They think they know best, they actually believe that their way is the correct way and nobody else has a better solution. This delusion alone is fact enough to make them unfit to hold any office or position of authority in this country
The once great Tory party of Churchill has fallen into the hands of a Notting Hill, Old Etonian elite who are completely out of touch with the aspirations and concerns of the majority of UK citizens.
Veritas will redress the balance but we need your support to do it.

Is your home and your local area a nice place to live then watch out, this Labour Government and Mr Gordon Brown (and his minions) are after you and your wallet.
There are massive increases being proposed by this Government if your home and its surrounding area is a nice place to live.
If householders have improved their homes and the local residents have managed to establish their local area as a fit place to bring up their children they are going to be punished by massive council tax increases.
For example a loft conversion or conservatory could well push you into a higher band and don’t live near a good school for god’s sake or you will be punished.
In Labourspeak, the above, and many other home or area improvements will increase your geo-demographic rating and therefore increase your tax liability with it.
If you establish a neighbourhood watch scheme and help reduce crime in your local area you will face higher bills.
I could go on giving you example after example of how your hard work and the hard work of your neighbours and friends will be punished by this Labour Government.
Some day the people of this country will wake up to how much this Government and the old style politicians are taking from them in various taxes, both stealth and open, and wonder why they did so little to stop them doing it.
The annual rises in local taxes are just another symptom of this Government's abject failure to address the fundamental issue of tax and spend.
Unless and until this country has a complete overhaul of the tax system both locally and nationally we are doomed to an ever-increasing spiral of tax increases.
Believe me the civil service mandarins and bureaucrats in both Whitehall and locally are very good at finding ways to spend and mostly waste other peoples (i.e. the Taxpayers) money.
For years the Labour Party have been known as the tax and spend Party, which was bad enough. They now have become the tax spend and waste party. This Government taxes the people of this country to the hilt and unless and until we address the core issues it will continue to be so.
We need to do two things
Reduce the massive waste that occurs even as you read this article (and don’t forget it is your money not theirs). At the same time reduce the overall tax burden on our people so they keep more of what they earn. That way lies economic growth and prosperity for us all.
Veritas if given the chance will address the issue as follows
We will introduce a flat tax
We will ring fence and protect the funds to be spent on front line services like Doctors, Nurses, Fire Fighters, and Soldiers etc
We will ensure that the people who actually do the work in our public services are protected and have adequate funds to do the job we ask of them.
We will reduce massively the colossal waste that occurs daily in this country!….. From foreign health tourists to bogus asylum seekers, from human rights lawyers to overpaying for goods and services we will attack waste and fraud without mercy.
Veritas will do anything that’s necessary to ensure that our people have the following
Public services that are properly resourced without wasting most of the taxpayer’s money that are spent on them.
A Civil service that is lean and organised and has far less bits of paper to push around trying to achieve meaningless targets for their political masters.
Veritas will attack waste wherever it is found regardless of any interest groups we may upset whilst doing so.
Finally we promise to keep the overall tax burden as low as possible in this country whilst at the same time maintaining proper public services.
It can be done by minimising waste, reducing administration and getting value for money for every single pound of taxpayer’s money that we spend.
You may ask “if it's that easy why have the others not done it?” It’s a fair question and deserves a straight answer.
The reasons are simple, they don’t have the guts to oppose the vested interests of various groups and organisations that will suffer as tax is reduced and waste is eliminated.
There will be powerful lobby groups and organisations that will oppose the massive reductions in waste that are achievable.
Nevertheless if a party has the nerve to do so and the support of the people, it can be done and Veritas will do it given the chance.
All we ask is that the people of this country give us the opportunity to do as we say we will do.
Veritas will oppose any enemy, fight any fight and pay any price to ensure that this country is run for the benefit of its citizens and in this case that means
Tax as low as possible and waste as little as possible
It can be done; don’t let anybody tell you different.
Leader's comment - 19th September 2006
We have all heard about the uproar in the Muslim world recently over comments made by the Pope.
At a recent demonstration some alleged comments and placards were contributed to people taking part in that demonstration.
Veritas cannot sit idly by without formally requesting the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police to investigate whether offences were committed.
The formal letter of complaint was sent by recorded delivery this morning and we await the outcome.
A copy of the letter is shown below and we pledge to print the response or lack thereof from The Metropolitan Police as time progresses.

As a political party in this country we have no alternative but to lodge a formal complaint following the Muslim demonstration at Westminster Cathedral, London on Sunday 17th September 2006.
Veritas would like to make an official complaint against Anjem Choudary. The complaint revolves around the incitement to murder Pope Benedict XVI; he also stated “whoever insults the message of Mohammed is going to be subject to capital punishment”.
There were also several placards stating, “Jesus is the slave of Allah”. Being a country of Christian beliefs, we take offence that under the new laws this demonstration was allowed to continue.
The Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2005 states:
Hatred against persons on racial or religious grounds
Part 3 of the Public Order Act 1986 (c.64) is amended in accordance with the Schedule to this Act, which –
(a) Creates offences involving stirring up hatred against persons on religious grounds, and
(b) Amends provisions relating to offences involving stirring up hatred against persons on racial grounds.
17A Meaning of “religious hatred”
In this Part “religious hatred” means hatred against a group of persons defined by reference to religious belief or lack of religious belief.”
We would be grateful if you would keep us informed of the investigation into the above complaint as we think it is in the interests of this country that demonstrations like this are not allowed to continue outside the law as passed by our democratically elected government

New Labour the tax, spend and waste party.
In the past the Labour party when in Government and in opposition was always known as the tax and spend party.
If there was a way to tax virtually anything they would, then they spent the taxpayer's hard earned cash with the same enthusiasm a drowning man clings to a life belt thrown to him.
God knows that was bad enough but now the poor country and the unfortunate taxpayer has an even worse deal with the present Government. Heaven help us, they have now become the tax, spend and waste party. Hundreds of millions of taxpayer's hard earned pounds are being wasted during the funding of state schools and hospitals.
Due to the madness and incompetence of the present Government school heads and NHS managers are being forced into contracts of up to 30 years with companies who are charging huge mark ups for basic maintenance.
Here are some examples of the waste of taxpayer's money which is occurring daily even as you read this article.
Health
Changing a light socket at a flagship hospital in Kent costs £420
Hanging a mirror in the same hospital costs £200
Education
A School in Newcastle upon Tyne which has NO PUPILS costs £52,000 per month for maintenance (yes that's correct NO PUPILS.... you could not make it up if you tried)
I could give many more examples of the total disregard this Government has for the taxpayers of this country but I won't.
They waste money as though the taxpayer is a bottomless well from which they can draw funds whenever they need it and damn the cost (after all it's not their money)
Veritas would encourage the people of this country to remember this waste at the next election. When you collect your wages, fill up your cars, pay any of the vivid and various taxes imposed upon you by this Government, remember what is happening to your money.
The next time you see Mr Blair or Mr Brown grinning and talking about the record investment into the NHS and the public services remember the light switch, the mirror and the school.
It's YOUR money, not theirs and they must be made to pay for their arrogance and incompetence at the very earliest opportunity.
The question to ask now is, will the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats really do any better?
A Line in the sand
Veritas urges the present Government and its ministers to try to develop a backbone regarding immigration and put the welfare of our country and its citizens first for a change.
In particular, Veritas totally opposes the situation regarding EU citizens when it comes to immigration. EU citizens can come to our country more or less as they wish. Once here, they can after just 12 months claim benefit and bring their families over, all of whom can also claim benefits.
The UK cannot even, under the human rights law, stop convicted murderers, rapists and child sex offenders from coming here. To add insult to injury, if these criminals commit an offence in our country we cannot under an EU directive deport them. If couples split or divorce dependants cannot be deported and can also claim benefits.
In January 2007 Romania and Bulgaria will become members of the EU and many of their citizens and criminals will come to our country. Our government is too timid to do anything about it.
Please do not be fooled by the spin of Mr Blair and his cronies regarding immigration, remember WMD. Remember these are the same spin merchants who assured us that we could expect 13,000 new immigrants per year from Poland and other countries when they joined the EU in 2004. The actual figure is nearer 600,000
Bulgaria is the crime capital of Europe, it's run by people who live off drug dealing, people trafficking, prostitution and protection rackets. A large number of those criminals already have their bags packed and are rubbing their hands in expectation of the rich pickings that await them in the UK. God only knows how many of our law abiding citizens and children they will prey on in the coming years
Be under no illusions, don't fool yourself into believing otherwise; hundreds of thousands of immigrants will be coming from Romania and Bulgaria and the major parties will do nothing about it. Our political leaders prefer to adopt the ostrich technique of burying their head in the sand rather than confront the issue
Give Veritas the opportunity and we will put the welfare of our citizens first every time. We will not flinch at the hard decisions that need to be made to regain control of our borders and we will oppose any enemy and fight any fight to do so.

We are all British and we don't need extra help
Veritas applauds the statement recently made by Mrs Adedeji from Luton, in reply to the recent call from Trevor Phillips for special quotas to get more minority students into University.
Mrs Adedeji who is a Briton with African Origins said "I am amazed that Mr Phillips believes that minorities are so educationally backward as to need an extra push to get to University. Are those who get this extra push also expected to be pushed to pass their degrees. Will they be set separate, ethnic exams?"
"I would like my children to go to Cambridge University but if they don't work hard and study well enough they wont achieve that goal. I would feel insulted if they were offered a place because of their colour or race."
She went on to say; "My children don't need gift wrapped university places, positive segregation, positive discrimination or so called multiculturalism to achieve this - we are all British."
"So thanks Mr Phillips but no thanks!"
Veritas says well done Mrs Adedeji. We agree with you entirely. Veritas will end the culture of segregation in the UK be it positive or negative. There will be no more quotas, no special treatment, no discrimination of any kind be it negative or positive.
Veritas believes that people (in the words of Martin Luther King) must be "treated by content of their character rather that the colour of their skin".
Indeed we would go further than that great mans words, Veritas believes we are all equal and therefore we should be treated equally.
No matter a persons creed, gender, race, or what name they call their God we are all equal and must be treated equally.
Special quotas or special social engineering to favour one group over another. It is the quickest way to foster resentment possible. It is woolly thinking of the most dangerous kind and Veritas are the only party that will stop it dead in its tracks.

Tony Blair (not for the first or last time) promises yet again to sort out the major problems we have in our Justice system.
His W M D (Words of Mass Deception) come forth from him without a hint of shame or remorse.
Veritas warns people not to be fooled by his promises.
Never forget the Mr Blair works on the principle that if you fool enough of the people for enough of the time that’s enough to get you elected.
Veritas says enough of your meaningless promises. You have had nine years to sort the justice system out and you have failed (as in so many things) miserably.
There is only one way to sort out our Justice system and that is the Veritas way.

Yet again this week the people of the UK had to gasp in disbelief at the catalogue of errors, incompetence and downright stupidity of the Home office.
The list is virtually endless, it ranges from unacceptably lax controls over immigration, the release from prison into our community people who should have been deported and never allowed back in to our country. to criminals being given tough (that’s a laugh) community sentences which include antique restoration and costume making.
I wont depress you any further with the list (for it seems to go on and on) of mismanagement, and weak leadership that has become the trademark of the many Home secretaries we have had since Labour came to power.
There is only one question Mr Blair and his Ministers need to answer:
Was the Home Office in such a shambles when you came to power 9 yrs ago?
A simple question you may think, one that can really only be answered three ways
Yes , No, or we simply don’t know
If Yes - then why have the Government not done something about it
If No - then the responsibility for this shambles lies at the Governments feet
If we simply don’t know … well Mr Blair you should know, what have you been doing for the last 9 years?
The Home Office
Our Home Office controls many facets of our daily lives the main two being Immigration and Law and Order.
Immigration
The Immigration system in this country is an utter farce and cannot be allowed to continue without a root and branch overhaul.
The government have no idea how to tackle the problem they are riddled with incompetence and political correctness,
Veritas will tackle the problem of Immigration head on; we wont shirk from the tough decisions required
We will completely overhaul the present pathetic system; nothing will be ruled in or ruled out except that our immigration system will be based on the following
Immigration … only those we need
Asylum … only our fair share
We wont allow other countries or organisations to dictate our Immigration system and we will not bend to political correctness.
Law and Order
Veritas will work towards Zero tolerance of crime, we will introduce stiff mandatory penalties for serious crime and we will end the scandal of early release. Veritas will build as many prison as required and ensure we have more police on the streets
In short Veritas will declare war on criminals and crime and make criminals fear the law instead of law-abiding citizens fear criminals
Our country and its people deserve better that this shambles of a Home Office and this present government should hang its head in shame over the catalogue of errors and arrogant incompetence it has displayed.

Veritas takes the situation regarding crime in this country very seriously.
We do not live in a fantasy world of fiddled figures and complacency that has blighted the lives of the victims of crime for far too long in this country.
We all know there are many reasons for the epidemic of crime in the UK (that’s the real UK we real people live in not the strange planet most of the main political parties inhabit).
If crime is ever to be addresses society must take matters seriously, we need to re-establish the connection between the police, teachers, and the criminal justice system to the people they serve and who pay their wages.
We must at all times put the welfare of the victim and their rights first and we must never be afraid to stand up to the criminals, their apologists and excusers.
Veritas would make a start by declaring war on criminals. We would ensure that Judges pass mandatory minimum sentences that must be served in full.
Judges will still have a range of sentences depending on the circumstances of the case but there would be minimum mandatory sentences they must pass.
To highlight the situation in the UK today I will bring to your attention a single case (there are many more happening on a daily basis)
David Humphrey and Lee Beazley both 19 were recently 'jailed for life' for beating and repeatedly raping a 65-year-old woman.
The judge in the case told them ‘‘their crime was amongst the worst ever committed in Tees side.’’ These two career criminals who showed no remorse whatsoever will be eligible for parole in SIX YEARS.
Have no doubt in six years some bleeding heart tree hugger will be pushing for their release, perhaps on the basis that their mother never got them MTV to watch when they were kids and that really they are good boys.
Can somebody please tell me what is the point of passing a Life Sentence and then making them eligible for parole in Six years?
Meanwhile their innocent victim is serving a true-life sentence and who cares for her?
In my opinion both these people should have got a minimum of 20 years without parole.
That would at least have given the victim some sense of justice and protected the community from these people for that period.
Veritas makes no apology for putting the victim first every time and never will.
